Naomi has been a part of the fitness industry for 15 years. It began as a self improvement project and has developed into a real passion for helping people achieve their fitness goals.
She understands that not everybody is lucky enough to come from a sporting family background and in fact most people are simply looking for a way to keep healthy and gain some fitness along the way. “But an amazing thing happens to people as they start to achieve their goals.” Says Naomi, “They get hungry for more and start striving to conquer heights they never thought themselves able to even consider!”
It’s this transformation in people that inspires Naomi. To see people who had mentally “written themselves off” become people that can only be described as athletes is life changing. For everyone involved.
Naomi has continued her passion for health and fitness with her studies in massage therapy, nutritional medicine and western herbal medicine.
She loves nothing more than combining all this knowledge with a little “tough love” to guide people to success.
Now, adding co-owner and coach at CrossFit Southern Highlands to her achievements’ feel like the icing on the cake to her fitness career.
“It’s not about perfect. It’s about effort. And when you bring that effort every single day, that’s where transformation happens. That’s how change occurs.”
Dave a former Fire Fighter with Fire and Rescue NSW has always had a passion for helping others. Through this he has a accumulated a wealth of knowledge on optimising peak physical performance, strength and conditioning as well as skills in coaching others how to cope mentally while working under intense pressures and through physical and mental adversity.
At a young age he discovered a love for fitness and human bio-mechanics, grabbing hold of every text book, magazine and article he could find on the subject, furthering his love for human achievement through sport. Coaching, fitness and sporting prowess has always been in his future being a blood relative of the great Sir Donald Bradman, his lineage has proven to serve him well through his sporting endeavours achieving many a sporting victory through a vast amount of disciplines.
Dave has shown a natural ability to succeed in every sport he has played. It’s this passion for sport exercise and training that lead him to complete qualifications in Fitness and Personal training and is now looking forward to competing and coaching in CrossFit ” The Sport of Fitness”.
When Dave’s passion for CrossFit began he implemented the same methodology to his own training and has found the efficiency of getting results to be unparalleled to anything he had previously experienced.
Now the proud co-owner and coach of CrossFit Southern Highlands, the future looks very bright for both he and his clients.
” It will hurt, it will take dedication, it requires sacrifice, but i promise you when you reach your goal, ITS WORTH IT”.
